The Miami Independent Short Film Festival (MISFF) is dedicated to celebrating and promoting the art of short-form storytelling. Our mission is to provide a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their unique visions, fostering creativity and innovation in cinema.

Our History
Founded in 2023, MISFF quickly established itself as a premier event in the world of independent cinema. Our inaugural festival in 2024 was a resounding success, featuring over 100 short films from 30 countries and attracting thousands of attendees.
Since then, we've continued to grow, expanding our program to include workshops, panel discussions, and networking events. We're proud to have become a launching pad for numerous filmmakers who have gone on to achieve success in the industry.
